Hong Kong Rope Skipping Association, China "2008 Annual General Meeting" was successfully held on the 25^th of October, 2008. Principal Mr Jason Chan and Programme Director Mr Kelvin Man got the "2008 Outstanding Coach Award". Programme Director Mr Kelvin Man became the Vice-President of the 5^th Executive Committee of Hong Kong Rope Skipping Association, China. Principal Mr Jason Chan and Coach Miss Nikki Chan are committee members.

Great News. New colours of Long Handle Beaded Ropes are in stock now. If you want to renew your current rope, or get one more extra rope as reserve,  go and buy the colouful ropes before it last.

Beside ropes, we have also put down different kinds of Level T-Shirts to the stock. Since the rate of passing Level 1 or higher Course is increasing, students have the opportunity to renew their own Level T-Shirt, and represent themselves in the Rope Skipping World!

7-ELEVEN與好鄰居文教基金會10月4日在西門町武昌誠品廣場，舉辦全國首屆OPEN盃尬舞鬥繩總決賽。本次決賽中，特別請到來自香港的跳繩街舞天團「Da Crew Of Compound」來台示範尬舞鬥繩表演，令人耳目一新。台北體育學院跳繩國家代表隊與HRC舞團也不遑多讓，雙方首度交鋒，跳繩結合街舞的處女秀，引起跳繩界與街舞界的高度重視。

（綜合報道）都說香港人本事又聰明。說本事，因為香港跳繩代表隊於剛過去的第七屆世界跳繩錦標賽中，光榮式拿了八金回來；說聰明，因為代表隊成員坦言，港 人體力不及洋人，奪金全靠腦筋靈活。而當大眾還時常為租用運動場地而費煞思量，亦只有跳繩這項目毋須場館、毋須高價購置裝備；看似是平常玩意，卻只憑兩根 膠管、一圈膠繩便可跳出國際。
